This section of the show can only be described as a most hilarious lightening fast cookery extravaganza! Kevin will cook several dishes – most of them on the hobs at the same time! Nobody can fail to be astounded by the sheer speed and organisation skills displayed, but not only this, simultaneously Kevin talks about his funny moments from many of his television shows.
For the BBC’s ‘Fasten Your Seat Belts’, the time he assumed the role of a taxi river in New York, a concierge in Hong Kong, and a deck hand on a Caribbean tall ship. Tales from ‘the Reluctant Cook’, Big Kevin Little Kevin, ‘Ready Steady Cook’ and or course his award winning show ‘Can’t Cook Won’t Cook’.

Following a career in some of the world’s most renowned kitchens, Kevin was appointed as a lecturer in professional cookery. He rapidly rose through the ranks and after gaining a Higher Degree in the Philosophy of Education and Management at Hull University, was appointed as the youngest Head of Department at one of England’s biggest and most reputable colleges of Higher Education.
A career in the media soon beckoned and Kevin first hit the screens on ITV's ‘This Morning’ programme before the BBC tempted him to join them.
His relaxed style, immense skill and ability to communicate at all levels brought him acclaim on ‘The Reluctant Cook’, ‘Big Kevin Little Kevin’, ‘Ready Steady Cook’ and ‘Can't Cook, Won't Cook’, - for which he was voted Best Daytime Television Presenter at The National Television Awards. He also starred in 64 half hour episodes of ITV’s ‘Surprise Chefs’, and has recently hosted 13 episodes of ITV’s ‘Reality Bites’.
His popularity with viewers also led to Kevin becoming a regular presenter on BBC’s ‘Holiday’ programme and he co-presented ‘Summer Holiday’, with Jill Dando.
Other successful BBC series followed such as ‘Fasten your Seatbelt’ in which Kevin assumed the roles of a taxi driver in New York, entertainer aboard a cruise ship, concierge at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong, a deckhand on a Caribbean tall ship and a children's holiday rep in Spain.
In addition, Kevin successfully hosted BBC One's live ‘The Heaven and Earth Show’ for over 2 years, tackling many sensitive social issues and effortlessly interviewing such ‘A list’ celebrities as Sir John Mills, Jimmy Tarbuck, Gabrielle, Chris de Burgh and Moby. He was also a regular presenter for BBC’s hugely popular show ‘Songs of Praise’.
Indeed, Michael Aspel paid a ‘This is Your Life’ tribute to Kevin whilst he was playing the part of Robert Hale in the BBC series ‘Doctors’ and he continued his development in drama by playing Watkins in ‘Hollyoaks’
Kevin's sense of fun makes him a regular guest on many leading light entertainment shows, including Lily Savage's Blankety Blank, Through the Keyhole, Countdown, Celebrity Weakest Link and The National Lottery Show, Saturday Night Fever, Bob Monkhouses Birthday Tribute, Ian Wrights ‘Hidden Talents’, Eastenders Revealed and the Tracy Beaker Show and he was the male reserve Celebrity skater for ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’
Kevin’s company, ‘Kawblimey Productions’ in conjunction with Platinum Films, has been involved in the production of the ground breaking new children’s adventure series ‘Planet Cook’ in which Kevin plays the lead character and co/producer in this 104 part fully scripted series shot on a full sound stage at Pinewood Film Studios.
The show is currently the number one most popular children’s show on ABC Australia.
For many years Kevin was a Senior Examiner for cookery courses for City and Guilds of London Institute as well as being a judge at all of the major International Cookery Competitions.
His Consultancy skills have been used by a wide variety of Institutions ranging from The London Ritz to The Bulgarian Government.
He enjoys appearing live on stage and recently played Baron Hardup in Cinderella with Danny la Rue at the Swan Theatre, for which he received rave reviews for his performance and special mention for his comic timing.
Kevin has published 9 books and is the only chef in Europe to have had a set of stamps issued and approved by Her Majesty the Queen, in honour of his dishes.
