Tango Pasión 2010 UK Tour

In 1992, many years after their triumph on Broadway with Hector Orezzoli and Claudio Segovia’s legendary Tango Argentino, the producer Mel Howard and jose Libertella decided to create a new totally different tango spectacle, which would be much more than just a variety show.

Mel Howard & Jos’e Libertella, accompanied by the choreographer Hector Zaraspe & the painter Ricardo Caroani, spent many months in Buenos Aires creating a show which weaved together many different tango stories.  They uncovered a cast of fabulous dancers who also represented the full range of Argentine society.

The Argentinian company Tango Pasión, back in Britain with a new show, sets out to show a full range of tango. 
This world renowned show is now to return to the UK in 2010
Tango Pasión has 13 terrific dancers who will not fail to delight with their outrageous costumes, the couples and soloists gives a different accent to the scissored legs and lush torsos. What legs, and what feet: stabbing quicksteps, deep swooning lunges, legs entwined in flashing kicks and hooked poses.  They are accompanied by 2 singers and 8 musicians who are just as extrovert.
