Shaun The Sheep to tour in 2011
I’m delighted to be able to announce that Calibre Productions has agreed with Aardman to produce a stage adaptation of Shaun the Sheep in spring 2011.
Shaun the Sheep was launched in 2007 on CBBC, BBC1 and BBC2 and now attracts millions of viewers each week winning multiple awards along the way including an Emmy 2 BAA’s and a BAFTA nomination. The show has sold over 500,000 DVD’s in the UK and has major promotions running with Weetabix, FACE and Future. In addition it has built huge social networking communities via Facebook, CBBC and its official site. A new series was launched in November 2009 on BBC1 with massive press coverage.
I’m also delighted to announce that David Wood has agreed to adapt the series for the stage.
